We met 11-year-old multi-talent Haven Krys<\/a> in Miami for a fun and colorful photoshoot to portray one of the top trends of this summer\u2014fruits and berries<\/i>. The shoot, aptly titled \u201cI Love You Berry Much,\u201d<\/strong><\/i> was bursting with creativity, joy, and personality\u2014just like Haven herself. From modeling to acting and singing, this California girl is chasing big dreams and inspiring others along the way. Let\u2019s dive into her world!<\/p>\n

Modeling with a Mission<\/b><\/p>\n

Hi Haven! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and what you love to do?<\/b>
\nHi! I\u2019m Haven Krys, I\u2019m 11 years old and from San Diego\u2014but honestly, I think I could live anywhere! I\u2019d be happy traveling the world as long as I get to be creative. I find inspiration everywhere. My biggest passions are singing, acting, and modeling. One day, I hope to be a highly successful businesswoman, too!<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the best part about being a model?<\/b>
\nTraveling to interesting places and spending time with other ambitious, like-minded friends is always my favorite. I also love the creative aspects of both runway and editorial modeling.<\/p>\n

What inspired you to start modeling?<\/b>
\nMy background is in singing, acting, and especially musical theater. I\u2019ve always felt most alive on a stage. Modeling felt like a new and exciting type of stage for me\u2014and after my first experience at fashion show in Los Angeles, I was completely hooked!<\/p>\n

Any favorite modeling moments so far?<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

Participating in a fashion show in the city of stars\u2014Paris\u2014was an absolute dream! I also had so much fun shooting our Junior Style editorial for the New York or Nowhere<\/i> Children\u2019s Show<\/a> press\u2014it was unforgettable. I made some lifelong friends during those experiences.<\/p>\n

Which brand would be a dream to work with?<\/b>
\nDefinitely Dior<\/b> or Zara<\/b>\u2014they reflect my personal style. But even more than that, I\u2019d love to work with global fashion houses or lifestyle brands to learn how the businesses run. I\u2019m passionate about understanding the industry from every angle.<\/p>\n

Fashion Talk<\/b><\/p>\n

Do you have a favorite fashion blog or magazine?<\/b>
\nJunior Style hands down. I am loyal through and through and greatly respect the creative business you have built. I read Elle and Harper\u2019s Baazar often as I have been lucky enough to be featured in each of those and they hold a special place for me.<\/p>\n

What do you love most about Junior Style?<\/b>
\nIt connects talent and voices from all over the industry. The platform has such a unique global lens, offering fashion insights, stunning photography, and a space where kids like me can share our perspectives. There\u2019s nothing else quite like it.<\/p>\n

What does being a Junior Style Ambassador mean to you?<\/b>
\nIt\u2019s a tremendous honor to represent a brand and business that I highly respect. Junior Style empowers kids to have a voice and take the lead when it comes to their opinions on the emerging fashion trends. Aleksandra listens to what we have to say and it is fun to see the all the amazing creativity behind the featured brands. That I get to do it with friends is the cherry on top!<\/p>\n

Are there any models you look up to for inspiration? What makes them special to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gigi Hadid is a definite role model for me. She has been modeling since she was very young and people sometimes even say I look like her in her younger photos. She\u2019s gone on to be a successful businesswoman and mother and also finds time to follow her personal passions as well.<\/p>\n

Fashion must-haves in your closet?<\/b>
\nI love timeless pieces\u2014my Burberry trench coat<\/b>, Dior Cannage combat boots<\/b>, and a great pair of Zara or Levi\u2019s jeans<\/b>. I usually pair them with a classic white tee or tank. Timeless fashion is not only classy but sustainable, which is super important to me.<\/p>\n

Current fashion trend you love?<\/b>
\nI\u2019m loving the boho chic<\/b> look, especially when it\u2019s styled like Chlo\u00e9<\/b> does it\u2014effortlessly elegant.<\/p>\n

Beyond the Runway<\/b><\/p>\n

What else do you enjoy outside of modeling?<\/b>
\nMusic is everything to me\u2014I’m a singer through and through. My mom always says that if I\u2019m not singing, she knows something is wrong. I\u2019m also passionate about transitioning my acting efforts from musical theater to commercial work, and I\u2019m actively training for that now. In my spare time, I golf and play soccer every fall\u2014I’m actually super competitive!<\/p>\n

Favorite school subject?<\/b>
\nLanguage arts. I love to write and tell stories and that\u2019s part of what I find so exciting about fashion and song and acting, it\u2019s all a story to be told in its own way!<\/p>\n

What do you love to do in your free time?<\/b>
\nTravel. I have been blessed to travel the world to many cool locations but there are so many places I still want to see! My bucket list includes visiting Spain, fishing in Alaska and to see the northern Lights in Iceland. Other than travel I just really like hanging out with my friends- sleepovers, swimming and spending time together.<\/p>\n

If you could have three wishes, what would they be?<\/strong> My first wish would be to have the ability to teleport, so I could visit anybody or any place, anytime! I would also wish to have my own successful brand that encompasses everything from fashion to lifestyle and entertainment to charity. I want to do it all! Last but most \u201cnext step\u201d wish is to get a golden retriever of my own!<\/p>\n

Theater Dreams & Big Screens<\/b><\/p>\n

We heard you recently participated in a theater musical play! Can you tell us about it? What did you like the most, and what was the most challenging part?<\/b>
\nYes! This was one of my favorite productions I\u2019ve been a part of. I played Sandy in the musical theater production of Grease<\/i>. It was such an iconic role to take on, so there was definitely a lot of pressure to do it justice\u2014especially singing a classic like Hopelessly Devoted<\/i>! But I love a challenge, and I feel like it was a huge accomplishment to play the role well and receive such strong reviews. One of my favorite things in the world is nailing a hard song!<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your dream role in a theater production or film?<\/b>
\nMore than anything, I would love to land a leading role in a recurring series that\u2019s a bit grittier and more challenging to portray\u2014something like Millie Bobby Brown\u2019s role as Eleven in Stranger Things<\/i>.<\/p>\n

What inspired you to start acting? Was there a particular show or movie that made you want to try it?<\/b>
\nWhen I was five, I got to be in a Disney 365<\/i> TV commercial, and it completely sparked my love for the entertainment industry! I was part of something special alongside all the successful child actors on Disney that I greatly admired. I knew I could do it too! The sky is the limit!<\/p>\n

Have you been part of any plays, movies, commercials, or special projects? Which one was your favorite and why?<\/b>
\nThe Disney commercial holds a special place in my heart because it was the beginning of my long love for acting. More recently, I really enjoyed our days at the trade shows in New York with my fellow Junior Style Ambassadors. I want to continue diving into and experiencing as many different sides of the fashion and entertainment industry as possible. This was such a cool opportunity to explore emerging trends and brands, while also having a platform to share our perspectives.<\/p>\n

If you could act alongside any famous actor, who would it be and why?<\/b>
\nKate Winslet\u2014because I would learn so much from her! From Titanic<\/i> to The Holiday<\/i>, her range is incredible, and I feel like she could teach me so much.<\/p>\n

What kind of roles do you enjoy playing the most \u2014 dramatic, comedic, or action-packed?<\/b>
\nI enjoy it all, but I\u2019d have to say dramatic roles are my favorite because you get to explore all the different sides of human emotions. I like a challenge!<\/p>\n

How do you prepare for auditions or performances? Do you have any fun rituals or good luck routines?<\/b>
\nPractice is obviously key\u2014I tend to overprepare for things! But I also really try to put myself in the shoes of whatever character I\u2019m playing. As for rituals, I like to do vocal warm-ups, box breathing, and a fun good-luck choreography routine I picked up from my dance friends.<\/p>\n

Who inspires you the most?<\/b>
\nMy mom<\/b>\u2014she works harder than anyone I know. She\u2019s had a successful career while also focusing selflessly on our family. Another person who inspires me is Taylen Biggs<\/b>\u2014we\u2019re the same age, and it\u2019s amazing what she\u2019s built for herself in entertainment.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your biggest dream for the future?<\/b>
\nI want to do it all! More than anything, I hope to translate all of my passions into a successful, lasting business model\u2014one that not only thrives but also empowers other girls to follow their dreams too.<\/p>\n

Favorite book or movie?<\/b>
\nI love to read everything from The Wit and Wisdom of Mark Twain<\/i> to The Summer I Turned Pretty<\/i> by Jenny Han. My all-time favorite movie is Titanic<\/i>\u2014it’s just epic.<\/p>\n

Favorite place in the world?<\/b>
\nOregon and Paris. Oregon is my cozy, happy place and Paris is where fashion dreams and beautiful creativity come to life!<\/p>\n

If not modeling or acting, which other professions in fashion attract your interest? <\/b><\/p>\n

I want to run my own business, so I am interested in learning about each and every side that the fashion industry has to offer!<\/p>\n

What advice would you give to other kids dreaming of modeling or acting?<\/b>
\nGo for it! Don\u2019t be afraid to shine bright and be bold.<\/p>\n

Any final words of encouragement?<\/b>
\nYou can achieve any dream with passion and hard work. Never stop believing in yourself!<\/p>\n

We\u2019re certain this is just the beginning for Haven Krys<\/b>, a future icon in the making. Whether she\u2019s gracing the runway, belting out a ballad, or dreaming up a new business plan, one thing is clear\u2014this young star is here to inspire.<\/p>\n
