Fancy Playdate

With the holiday season approaching, we’ve reimagined what a fancy wardrobe can be. Because when you’re six and your playdates happen in a dollhouse as dreamy as the Little Forest Animals one, your style naturally rises to princess level.

Think tulle couture dresses that twirl like snowflakes, sparkles that catch every glimmer of holiday light, or even a pink tuxedo suit that proves elegance has no rules.

And if the mood calls for something cozier — a knitted dress or a soft cardigan — it should, of course, be pink. If it’s pants, then definitely with frills and the cutest accessories to match.

Whether you choose glitter, grace, or a touch of comfort, the magic of dressing up is entirely yours.

Winter often arrives wrapped in shades of grey, but that shouldn’t be the case for kids’ fashion. This season, wardrobes are meant to be as colorful and full of personality as the children who wear them. The Fall/Winter 25/26 collections prove that even the coldest months can feel warm, cozy, and full of fun.

Think trendy teddy fabrics not just for coats but for sweaters too — soft, huggable, and irresistibly stylish. Berry tones, rich browns reminiscent of cocoa and hot chocolate, and textured materials bring a sense of comfort and warmth to every look. Intricate details, playful prints, and layering make dressing up an adventure in creativity.

This season also welcomes the rise of tailored style in kids’ wardrobes — trendy blazers, checkered coats, and structured silhouettes that blend classic charm with a modern twist. Animal prints and floral patterns are no longer reserved for summer dresses; they reappear this winter with fresh interpretations, adding boldness and charm to everyday outfits.

The message is simple: color your wardrobe, mix textures, and play with patterns. Winter doesn’t have to be dull — it can be an exciting playground for fashion, imagination, and self-expression.

Mickey Mouse — the little mouse with the biggest dreams — has inspired generations of children and adults alike. A timeless symbol of imagination, optimism, and the belief that dreams really do come true, Mickey continues to bring joy across the world. From birthday parties and Halloween costumes to parades and everyday fashion, this beloved character has become a true cultural icon.

Fashion, too, has long drawn inspiration from Disney’s most famous mouse — from playful patterns to bold accessories that celebrate his unmistakable charm.

In this editorial, we bring that spirit to life with Junior Style Ambassador Eva Leah, in a Mickey Mouse–inspired look that blurs the line between fashion statement and costume play. Is it a chic outfit or a Halloween costume? You decide.

At Junior Style, we believe children’s fashion is more than what they wear—it’s an expression of personality, imagination, and the worlds they create around themselves. We’ve always admired kids who embrace style as part of their individuality, and today we’re excited to present a project that celebrates exactly that.

For this editorial, we joined forces with Coccole Bimbi—winner of the Junior Style Awards 2025 for Best Retailer—to highlight standout pieces from the latest luxury collections. With concept and photography by Aleksandra Ataca, styling by the talented Cesare Morisco, and starring our very own Emma Bobok, Junior Style Awards 2024 winner, this collaboration is a true celebration of creativity, vision, and talent coming together.

Emma Bobok in New York: FW25 Between Street Style and Elegance

We spent one full day living the SoHo lifestyle through Emma’s eyes: babysitting dogs, sipping lattes, eating warm pretzels, practicing the art of hailing a yellow cab, and people-watching like a true New Yorker.

With Aleksandra Ataca’s vision behind the lens, every moment became a story—authentic, stylish, and effortlessly cool. Emma takes center stage on the streets of SoHo, moving seamlessly from the subway to the city’s most iconic neighborhoods, as she showcases FW25 looks that merge creativity, elegance, and a contemporary spirit.

From Burberry’s tailored coats and timeless checks to Versace’s eccentric, logo-driven details, through the essential modernity of MM6 Maison Margiela and the playful whimsy of Marni, each outfit tells a different story. Fendi and Balmain complete the journey with pieces that balance luxury and practicality—pleated skirts, logoed sweatshirts, iconic dresses, and distinctive accessories that elevate everyday wear.

Amid historic facades and the fast-paced rhythm of the subway, Emma embodies a wardrobe that reflects elegance, dynamism, and individuality. Contemporary yet timeless, colorful yet refined—these looks are made for every occasion, redefining what children’s fashion can be in the modern city.

This special Junior Style x Coccole Bimbi project is more than an editorial—it’s a celebration of the future of children’s fashion. With Aleksandra Ataca’s vision and photography, Cesare Morisco’s refined styling, Coccole Bimbi’s visionary curation, and Emma Bobok’s natural talent and charisma, it embodies everything we stand for at Junior Style: style with meaning, artistry with integrity, and kids who inspire us with the way they carry it all.

To collaborate, support, and celebrate each other is what truly matters. Together we are stronger—and that is exactly what happens when talented people come together.

Children’s Show Returns to New York for Its 5th Edition

Mark your calendars—Children’s Show is coming back to New York on February 8–9, 2026, for its much-anticipated 5th edition. A must-attend event on the kids’ fashion calendar, it has become an influential platform in the children’s fashion industry, bringing together global brands, buyers, press, and tastemakers for two inspiring days of discovery and connection.

Applications are now open, and the new season launches with a striking campaign captured by Aleksandra Ataca, featuring longtime brand partner Monnalisa. Shot in the heart of Times Square, the campaign unveils Monnalisa’s latest Fall/Winter collection, blending the brand’s timeless elegance with the electric pulse of New York City.

The Children’s Show continues to prove it is much more than a biannual event. Participating brands benefit from year-round opportunities—from editorial features to collaborations and extended visibility—that go far beyond the two show days. The platform consistently supports designers and labels in building long-term presence and influence within the children’s fashion industry.

As the countdown begins, anticipation builds for another milestone season of creativity, innovation, and community—right in the heart of New York.

At Junior Style, we believe true style isn’t defined by the latest season’s drop. For this editorial, we opened the doors to our archive and styled every look exclusively from past collections—proving that fashion’s magic doesn’t expire. With the rise of pre-loved fashion as a form of sustainability, investing in timeless pieces and developing your personal style has never been more relevant. Some garments even go on to become rare vintage finds, treasured by collectors.

In children’s fashion, trends are less rigid than in the adult world, giving space for creativity without the pressure to constantly update a wardrobe. Yet, both traditional magazines and today’s influencers often promote a fast-paced “wear once, buy more” culture. At Junior Style, we choose a different approach. We champion individuality, imagination, and the education of aesthetic taste—skills that allow you to create stylish, on-trend looks with what you already own.

This doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate new designers and collections—we absolutely do. But we also advocate for conscious shopping. Children grow quickly, and while new pieces will always be needed, a thoughtful wardrobe built on timeless style and creativity will outlast any season.

The Junior Style Awards is an annual, nonprofit initiative founded by Junior Style Editor-in-Chief, Aleksandra Ataca. Created to spotlight the outstanding achievements within the children’s fashion industry, the Awards recognize the individuals and brands whose creativity, vision, and dedication set new standards year after year.

Junior Style Awards

A Distinctive Celebration of Excellence in Children’s Fashion

The Junior Style Awards proudly returns for its second year, reaffirming its place as a prestigious annual, nonprofit initiative dedicated to celebrating outstanding achievements across the children’s fashion industry.

Founded as a nonprofit initiative by Aleksandra Ataca, Editor-in-Chief of Junior Style, the Awards were created to elevate the voices, talent, and innovation within the global kids’ fashion community. This unique platform recognizes the artistry, dedication, and creative vision that shape the industry today.

From visionary designers and beloved brands to talented models, photographers, stylists, makeup artists, influencers, and content creators, the Junior Style Awards spotlight the individuals and teams whose contributions move the world of children’s fashion forward.

Junior Style Awards

What Sets the Junior Style Awards Apart

At Junior Style, we believe in celebrating the creators, visionaries, and dreamers shaping the world of children’s fashion — and the Junior Style Awards is our way of honoring that vibrant spirit. The Awards continue to serve as a platform grounded in the values that matter most: inclusivity, authenticity, and community. So what makes it truly unique?

Open and Inclusive by Design
True to its founding mission, the Junior Style Awards remains free to enter and open to all — from rising stars to established names — as long as their work contributes meaningfully to the children’s fashion landscape. No paywalls, no gatekeeping — just pure talent and creativity.

An Empowering Nomination Process
Participants are encouraged to nominate themselves or others whose work deserves the spotlight. This is your moment to be seen and to bring our attention to the work you believe in. Each category has been carefully curated to honor excellence across every facet of our industry. The process offers everyone an equal opportunity to be celebrated — based on talent and creativity, not participation fees — because inspiration comes in many forms.

Expertly Judged
Winners are selected by a distinguished panel of industry insiders, each bringing years of experience and a sharp editorial eye. This esteemed jury ensures that each accolade reflects true merit — not just popularity.

Junior Style Awards

Powered by the Community
Through our open voting system, we invite the wider Junior Style community to have their say. It’s a moment for fans, families, and followers to rally behind their favorites, turning the Awards into a collective celebration of admiration and connection.
Being shortlisted is also a powerful opportunity to boost your brand’s visibility and connect with a global audience that appreciates creativity, authenticity, and style.

A New Generation of Voices
This year, we are proud to introduce our Kids’ Ambassador Panel — a thoughtful group of young fashion enthusiasts whose unique perspectives will help shape the final results. After all, in an industry inspired by children, their voices belong at the heart of the conversation.

As it enters its second year, the Junior Style Awards continues to grow into more than just a competition — it’s a global celebration of talent, inclusion, and the future. A space where creativity is honored, diversity is embraced, and every voice — young and seasoned — has a place to shine.

Junior Style Awards

Being shortlisted or winning a Junior Style Award is more than a moment of recognition — it’s a mark of excellence in the children’s fashion industry and a launchpad for lasting visibility.

Exclusive Winner Assets

All shortlisted participants and winners will receive the official Junior Style Awards logo, designed for use across digital and print platforms. It’s a trusted symbol of distinction and creativity within the industry.

Feature on JuniorStyle.net

Winners will be prominently featured on JuniorStyle.net, gaining exposure across our global platform and placing your work in front of an engaged, fashion-forward audience.

Invitation to Celebrate in New York

All shortlisted nominees will be invited to the Junior Style Awards Celebration in New York, taking place on July 27during CHILDREN’S SHOW — New York City’s elevated bi-annual kid’s fashion and lifestyle trade show.
The evening follows our highly anticipated CHILDREN’S SHOW RUNWAY powered by Junior Style, and brings together the industry for an elegant cocktail reception — a chance to connect, celebrate, and toast to creativity in the heart of the city.

Ongoing Recognition

Winning doesn’t end with an announcement. Throughout the year, award recipients will have opportunities to be featured in Junior Style projects, editorials, interviews, and campaigns — keeping your work in the spotlight long after the awards are announced.

Nautical style has always been a favorite in summer fashion—and for good reason. Whether it’s crisp whites, chic navy tones, sharp stripes, bold reds, or classic maritime motifs like boats, anchors, and ropes, the look remains timeless, effortlessly chic, and undeniably sophisticated. Best of all, it never compromises on comfort. In this fashion editorial, we give the nautical theme a playful, modern twist for kids. As we wander the marina, befriend a curious pelican, and listen to sailors’ tales, the story unfolds like a sunny daydream—where fashion meets adventure by the sea. It’s a celebration of summer elegance through the eyes of young adventurers.

Step into a season where color speaks louder than words and style meets spirited ease. Spring/Summer Vibes brings a bold new vision to kidswear — one where clean silhouettes, functional cuts, and minimalist charm mirror adult fashion, yet stay true to childhood’s playful rhythm. Through the lens of Silvia Coluccelli and styled with a keen eye by Ornella Rota, this editorial captures a fresh, curated take on warm-weather dressing. Vibrant hues move beyond accents to become the story themselves, turning every look into a confident, urban statement — made for kids who are ready to stand out.
